SERVICES & PRICING

Recording your music should be an enjoyable experience. So in order to keep the process as stress-free as possible, we have a simple pricing structure and some basic packages that will allow you to plan your budget beforehand, so that when you are in the studio you can just concentrate on your performance.

You can book your session with Single Origin Sound either on an hourly basis or as a package as listed below.

TRACKING: $50.00 per hour

  • Recording of all Instrument and Vocal tracks into Protools.
  • Track consolidation and exporting stems.

The time it takes to complete tracking really comes down to you, but a good guide would be to allow approx 2 – 3 hours per song depending on the complexity of the song.

MIXING: $60.00 per hour

  • Mix-down of multitrack recording.
  • Final mix-down provided as uncompressed wav ready for mastering. Mp3 files provided upon request.

PACKAGE 1: $450.00*

  • Three songs recorded & mixed in a single day (approx. 8 hours).
  • Final mixes will be provided to you either on disc, USB Flash Drive or Dropbox.
  • Stems can be provided on request.

PACKAGE 2:  $600.00*

  • Five songs recorded & mixed across two full day sessions (approx. 16 hours).
  • Final mixes will be provided to you either on disc, USB Flash Drive or Dropbox.
  • Stems can be provided on request.

PACKAGE 3: $2000.00**

  • Ten songs recorded & mixed.
  • Recording an album must be done right, so there is no time frame applied. The package can be booked over consecutive daily sessions, or spread out across a longer period of time to suit availability. 
  • Final mixes will be provided to you as wav & Mp3, you’ll also receive all stems on USB flash drive.

* Any additional time required over the package allowance will incur the standard hourly rate.
** This package must be booked a month prior to allow for scheduling. Every effort will be made to work with your schedule, but should circumstances arise that require a session be rescheduled, we will do our best to inform you of any impending changes.
