The Living End – Live Photo Gallery – Surfers Paradise LIVE – 3 May 2019

For the first time, I got to see and photo shoot our own Aussie Punk Rockers, The Living End at Surfers Paradise LIVE music festival last Friday night. The band consists of Chris Cheney (vocals, guitar), Scott Owen (double bass, vocals) and Andy Strachan (drums).

Blasting the stage with anthemic choruses while playing their hit songs, Prisoner of Society and White Noise (just to name a couple), these guys are one of the best trio bands I have seen live! Their frontman Chris Cheney caught my attention with those big old Gretsch Falcons, playing complex guitar riffs and adding some rockabilly licks to fast punk tunes. They have a great sound and stage presence, I can’t wait to photograph these talented musicians again but up close hopefully on their next show.
