We got to experience a weekend of great Australian Country Music at the 7th year Ballina Country Music Festival. The marquee was packed for both days with a collection of amazing and passionate multi-award artists.

HEADLINER: ADAM BRAND

Adam Brand is an Australian Country Music Superstar. Brand released his debut album in 1997, and he has since released 14 studio albums. He has been nominated four times for the ARIA Best Country Album award and is the winner of 12 Golden Guitar Awards at the Country Music Awards of Australia, including multiple wins in the Song of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year categories.

Brand has also cemented his place as Australian Country’s most successful publicly voted awards artist – being voted CMC Oz Artist of the Year, a massive five times (2007 – 2011) by Australian music fans.

 

This year marks the 20 year anniversary of Adam Brand. To celebrate, Adam is touring with an all star band playing the hits that have made him a household name. His show will make you want to laugh, cry, then get up on your feet and do it all again the next night!

Matt Cornell is an Australian singer-songwriter who has found his home in country music, Thanks to the advice from his good mate, Adam Brand.

He was a CMC Music Awards New Oz Artist of the Year finalist, and has been nominated again, for Male Artist Of The Year at the 2017 CMC Music Awards.

OPENING SUPPORT ACT: BLAKE O’CONNOR

Blake is an 18 year old, Australian Singer/Songwriter Guitarist. He released his debut self titled EP in June 2018 which debuted on the National Australian Independent Record Labels Chart at #1, Made #2 on the ARIA Australian Country Charts.
